MFH shifts gears
COVID-19 has disrupted our work and our plans, as it has for so many around the globe. University of Winnipeg’s Jennifer Cox met with us virtually to find out how our project has changed (and stayed the same!) these past few months. Read the story at the University of Winnipeg News Centre.
Our partner, Diversity Food Services, also has had to shift gears. Read how they’ve adapted their business with curb-side delivery options, as well as a new catering menu.
We look forward to distanced learning with our University of Winnipeg students in fall, and (hopefully!) the resumption of our Food History Truck course next spring.
In the interim, some of us are developing our own cooking skills with more frequent home cooking, and doing our part to support local food businesses when our experimenting gets away from us!
